ALPA Education Committee volunteers spoke with nearly 50 aviation students at Indiana State University (ISU) about the piloting profession to help them get ready to launch their careers. Professional Development Group chairman F/O Richard Swindell (UAL), Capt. Jeff Olekszyk (FDX), and F/Os Kandy Bernskoetter (FDX) and Corey Stutsman (UAL) briefed students on the industry hiring outlook and detailed the various aviation interview formats and techniques. The evening culminated with mock interviews to provide students with a glimpse into what it's like to interview as a professional pilot.
