ALPA Education Committee volunteers visited Saint Louis University's Parks College campus to meet with students in the aviation program as part of a strategic initiative to bridge the gap between the classroom and the flight deck. Capt. Marco Canetta (TSA) and F/Os Ryan Crabbe (United), Jason King (Delta), Steven Oeters (Delta), and Sara Wilson (Alaska)—all Parks graduates—presented to more than 60 students in classes on safety management systems and international aviation. Per student feedback, the highlight of the visit was the group's "Day in the Life" presentation, which was given to students, instructors, and faculty.
